  • On October 10, 2015, Judge Josephine L. Staton of the United States District Court for the Central District of California gave final approval to a $1.75 million settlement with Biolase, Inc. and certain individual defendants. In the ruling, the court commented on the skill and quality of Mr. Haber’s representation: “The skill and quality of work evidenced in this case support approval of the … fee request …. [The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber has] significant experience in complex federal civil litigation, particularly in the litigation of securities and other class actions …. The quality of [The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber’s] work is further evidenced by the favorable settlement achieved on behalf of the settlement class.” In Re Biolase, Inc.   • On December 20, 2013, Judge Analisa Torres of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York approved a $6,001,999 settlement against Kit Digital, Inc. and certain individual defendants. In the order and final judgment, the court found that Mr. Haber LLP “ha[d] litigated the Consolidated Action and achieved the Settlement with skill, perseverance, and diligent advocacy.” In re Kit Digital, Inc.   • On September 15, 2009, Judge Clarence Cooper of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia approved a $30.5 million settlement against Beazer Homes and certain individual defendants. In the order and final judgment, the court found that The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber and their co-counsel “conducted the litigation and achieved the Settlement with skill, perseverance and diligent advocacy.” In re: Beazer Homes USA, Inc.   • In September 2008, Judge Joel A. Pisano of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey approved a settlement involving Royal Dutch/Shell. The court stated: “[L]et me say one more thing. I compliment everybody in the way they’ve presented themselves here and I want you to know that I mean that sincerely …. I’m happy to say that the lawyers in this case have, again, conducted themselves in the highest professional manner. And I’m also pleased to say that this does not surprise me, having had the opportunity to preside over a lot of these class action litigations …. Particularly the attorneys in this case … The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber ….   • On August 25, 2008, Judge Deborah A. Batts of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York gave final approval to a $20.1 million settlement with Lumenis Ltd. and certain individual defendants. In the ruling, the court stated the following about The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber and their co-counsel: “the quality of the representation to achieve what they have achieved speaks for itself.   • On September 18, 2007, Judge Charles P. Sifton of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York gave final approval to a $20 million settlement with Gilat Satellite Networks, Ltd. and certain individual defendants. In approving the settlement, the court found the following about The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber and their co-counsel: “Plaintiffs’ Counsel in this case are qualified and experienced in this type of litigation and their preparation and advocacy have been praised by the mediator.” In re: Gilat Satellite Networks, Ltd., 1:02-cv-01510-CPS-SMG (E.D.N.Y.).
  • Judge Denise L. Cote of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, in approving a $7.5 million settlement involving Take-Two Interactive, Inc. and certain individual defendants found that: “Plaintiffs are represented by counsel who are skilled in federal securities and class action litigation …. Counsel have been diligent and well prepared. The Law Office of Jeffrey M. Haber, in particular, was especially helpful …. Plaintiffs’ counsel has performed an important public service in this action and have done so efficiently and with integrity ….
